Weddings, Wedding VenuesTim Maynard, Classical Guitar, Best Wedding Ceremony Music in Hartford - 2013 Bride's Choice Award Winner

"On your special day, nothing adds to the moment like live music . The excerpts below represent some of the traditional selections I've been asked to play. Some are classic selections from the traditional fairytale wedding. Others are more contemporary that couples have assembled for their signature celebration. I have made many of the arrangements played here. So, if you're looking for something different or a little less traditional, most anything can be arranged in a setting that will give the ceremony your personal touch. If your celebration requires a bigger sound, I work with some of the best professionals in Connecticut to make the event unforgettable. (See what others have had to say by clicking the Bride's Choice 2013 above.) If you have any questions, send me an email, and let me help set the stage for a beautiful day."tim@timmaynard.com

Testamonials

Our wedding ceremony was perfect and we owe a large part of that to Tim Maynard and his exceptional talent. We chose Tim to play guitar at our wedding because, in addition to us both loving classical guitar, we wanted a unique sound for our wedding -- something other than the traditional pipe organ. We couldn't have been happier! Tim worked with us to determine which songs to play and was very open to suggestions. We had very strong ideas and were adamant certain songs be included. Tim worked on adapting those songs for us to make our ceremony exactly what we imagined--low-key with very personalized, beautiful music. We recommend him to anyone who wants beautiful unique music at their wedding!

Dear Tim,
I just want to thank you very much for making the ceremony so beautiful, and just what they wanted. As a band leader, it is very important for us to have talented, professional and reliable musicians, and you are all three. Your willingness to accommodate the brides last minute requests without hesitation made her day and mine a breeze. No stress on the wedding day is key, and your demeanor was just perfect. And of course, the music. Your help in the selection of pieces was great. Both the bride and the groom loved your choices, and were so delighted that you were willing to play music that they selected as well. You have always been my "first call" and I look forward to a continued relationship in the future. With warm regards,

-Jilian Grey, HotHouse Band

When my husband(Chris) and I first started planning our wedding one of the only things we knew we wanted was for a guitarist to play at our ceremony and cocktail hour. When someone recommended Tim, we called him immediately and listened to his music on his website. After talking with Tim and listening to his music, my husband and I decided that he would be the perfect individual to play at our wedding. Tim not only helped us with our music selection, but also really emphasized that the music should reflect the couple's personalities. All of his suggestions lead us to choose pieces that made our ceremony and cocktail hour beautiful and complete. Tim was extremely professional and easy to work with, and was willing to learn new pieces of music for our wedding. Chris and I are grateful for Tim because he added such a beautiful artistic touch to our wedding--- which will always be remembered!! Thanks Tim!

Tim,
I just wanted to drop a line and let you know how much Elizabeth and I appreciated your guitar playing at our wedding - it really provided the perfect soundtrack to our day. Please feel free to use my name as a reference if you never need one and best of luck in the future!
Regards,
James Bray
